Infection Control Risk Assessment

An ICRA is multidisciplinary, organizational, documented process that after considering the installation's patient population and program Focuses on reduction of threat from infection, Acts through phases of installation planning, design, construction, addition, installation maintenance. An infection control trouble assessment is further than just running down a list of implicit hazards and informing help of swish practices. The infection control trouble assessment will identify particular tasks that may carry the trouble of contamination or the spread of complaint. The infection control trouble assessment will need to identify the hazards within the factory, including those that potentially may be brought into the factory.

  • Hand hygiene and cough etiquette.
  • The use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • The safe use and disposal of sharps.
  • Routine environmental cleaning.
